EARTHOPIA
EARTHOPIA a social movement and project aiming to change the common behaviors of the citizens around the area and could also be in other places of the municipality in terms of waste management and disposal. By integrating this movement into technology, the concept of monitoring now comes with the context. This social project will be done with the highest participation of barangay officials and local organizations related to environmental matters.
Vision and Mission
The vision of this social movement is to reduce the effects of pollution by encouraging individuals to take actions and participate in various programs. Moreover, integrating technology is also done to reach the full potential of this project since disseminating information is very easy through technology, particularly through various social media platforms. On the other hand, the mission of this social project is to mold individuals, especially the youth, to become active, responsible, and participative in the different programs of the community, especially in resolving the issue of pollution. Moreover, it wants to disseminate information about the problem as well as ways that everyone can help to solve it. Additionally, this information will be beneficial and will cover a wide range of audiences through the application of technology.
Goals and Objectives
For a clearer picture of this social project, the following are the objectives, aims, or goals of the movement:

To promote sustainable development through integrating social activities and contests that will boost the interest of the citizens to follow or obey

To promote knowledge about proper waste disposal and management

To address problems of proper waste disposal and management through the provisions of enough materials to do such

To change the perspectives of the people in terms of organizing trash that begins at home

To encourage everyone to reduce the quantity of waste being produced by giving knowledge and methods for recycling and waste management

To disseminate knowledge about the effects of excessive trash generation on our environment and our life via social media platforms by giving articles, films, and research

To create and strengthen numerous policies that have been being implemented to ensure the improvements of promoting healthier environment

To support and recreate innovations that promote sustainable development and less trash production

To encourage every individual from the community to become a “Zero Waste Person” that will offer information and guides on reducing waste
